2014 Race 4 @ A.R.T. Sprimont

Fourth race of the year is organized by the new club of A.R.T. Sprimont on the former RCEL track. Layout is unchanged compared to last year and is really one of the best in the country, with elevation changes and high speed chicanes on a surface offering many different grip levels along the day. Despite some weather related fears, the club delivered great event under the sun. On Saturday evening, we could even watch the last World Cup game of our Red Devils.

In the absence of current Pro2 ranking leader, Philippe Hautecoeur, France was represented by 2 newcomers, Laurent and Emilie Halluin (Associated SC10). The first made an excellent start in the Cup by setting TQ times in first 2 qualification rounds while running in the slower heat. Nicolas Evens (TLR 22SCT) won the third round to make it second on the grid, followed by Julian André (Associated SC10). 1/10 4WD belgian national champion Jean-Yves Konings completes the top 4.
