2015 Race 5 @ MBV Kampenhout

MBV Kampenhout hosts the fifth race of the season on the always perfect track in Park Van Relst. As usual Willy and Liliane manage to pull-off a flawless race. Layout is very selective and any mistake costs a lot of time. The day started on a wet and slippy track and it stayed like that until the 4th qualification round.

In first round of Pro2 A final, start is very clean. Laurent Halluin, Nicolas Evens and Tom Pierard run the first laps very close to each other. Laurent and Nicolas are on a higher pace and pull away slightly. On lap 4 Laurent makes a mistake, allowing Nicolas to pass by and win the round. In round 2, Laurent and Nicolas have an even closer battle, with Nicolas taking the inside on the wall. Laurent will keep the pressure on for the whole round but will not be close enough to take back the lead. Tom ends up third, compensating for his retirement in first round. Nicolas steps out from final round which Laurent wins easily. Tom follows at a distance, with David Pauwels (Durango DESC210) on his tails.

In B final, Emilie Halluin (Associated SC10) wins second and third rounds to take the win, ahead of Régis Lelarge (Durango DESC210) and Laurent Lecomte (Associated SC10).
